Getting a cold today. So I wanted noodle soup. Thought this would be beef “pho” since the restaurant’s name is “Pho” despite the fact that it’s a Lao/Thai joint. Instead I got a beef noodle soup with a slightly pickled broth. Rice noodles. Bits of slightly tough beef and processed meat balls. Not the best bowl of noodle soup I’ve ever had but hit the spot today when I was feeling miserable.
